My experience with the Web Conference....

Today I participated in my first Web Conference in this class. We were experiencing several technical difficulties so we only used the Chat feature. Something was wrong with the chat window, for it continued to grow small then large, making it difficult to keep up with the many entries coming in. Using technology a great deal on my campus, I have learned to be extremely patient and realize with that many users logged in, it would make the situation even more taxing. I did get a great deal of information on the LCE which I am taking this weekend, so that was a great help. I found out that in this late in the game we do not need to purchase the T20 software for the Portfolio, but I am looking forward to reading the transcript to get more information on that. I have used Web conferencing in other situations and I think it is a great tool and plan on coaching my teachers on campus to try it out more often.
